Henderson High School in Pflugerville, TX is sponsoring a classic car show. The proceeds from this event will be used to fund the "Business Professionals of America", a student organization focused on the advancement of leadership, citizenship, academic attainment, and technological skills. Preparation and competition at the state level help students build these important skills. Proceeds from the car show will be used to defray the expenses incurred by the students as they compete across the state in the regional and state competitions.

I heard it was cancelled because someone was doing donuts in the parking lot.

There were several groups of idiots over the last few months, but the donuts in the parking lot last Saturday (I think it was a BMW) was the final straw. Last month it was a Ferrari and this Vette. We can never have any good spots in this town. We lost the AT&T Center parking lot for SASCA autocross because a few idiots decided to do burnouts and donuts in the other lots. No more Academy, no more Best Buy, no more Alamo Draft House, no more AMC Huebner meets, just to name a few...

A few people are trying to find another location for Cars and Rides with police support, similar to Houston and Biffs. I'll post an update if I hear anything.
