Default Tinted tail lights dfw inspection? Need help!

Hi all!
I'm having a hard time finding a place that will pass my C5 with tinted rear light covers (there's an active thread open for a similar question in Austin).

Has anyone had their Vette inspected with rear covers on and passed lately? I'm near Carrollton but will drive anywhere in DFW. I'm hoping to go tomorrow morning/afternoon and take advantage of this fair weather!

I'm in Lewisville and I was turned down at the three places I tried. Fortunately, they noticed before they started and informed me that I couldn't pass. It almost seems like the state is cracking down on the inspectors too. I ended up returning to stock tail-lights for the inspection. They also failed the red bulbs in the tag lights ( I never knew they were there). No comments on the lightly smoked front turn signals or blacked out side lights so it looks like the tail and tag lights are this years 'hot' items at inspection.

I went yesterday and the guy in Arlington said nothing about my blacked out taillights, but I failed because I was tinted too dark on the windows!

It's easier to ask here and not have to peal off tape, buy more and re-apply.

Anyway, I found a spot that was too interested in my tail lights in the Grand Prarie area. Good for another year!

Thanks all who pm'd.
