Corvette Caravan-Vettes and Jets on the Lex 2013
Vettes and Jets on the Lex Caravan
Friday, September 13th, 2013
In 2007, 2009, 2011, we've hosted a caravan of corvettes to Corpus Christi, Texas with corvettes joining us from various states including one from Canada . Corvettes join us from all around Texas and the Houston area. In 2009, though it was pouring rain, we still managed to pull away from the Houston area with approx. 43 corvettes. In 2011, we had approx. 63 corvettes by the time we arrived to Corpus. Awesome sight to see!

We are inviting ALL corvettes to join us in a Caravan headed to Corpus Christi on Friday, September 13th, 2013 at 10am. If our out-of-town guests can arrange their schedules to perhaps be at our meeting place on Friday morning, we would love for you to join us as we drive the approx. 3 hr. drive into Corpus Christi and join the hundreds of other corvettes at the U.S.S. Lexington. NO RSVP NEEDED, NO NEED TO BE PRE-REGISTERED, JUST SHOW UP! INVITE YOUR FRIENDS!
MORE DETAILS TO FOLLOW AS WE GET CLOSER TO THE DATE!!! For now, here are tentative times.
Meeting Place:
Super Target
16300 Southwest Frwy.
Sugarland, Texas
(Corner of US 59 South & Highway 6)
Meeting Time: 9:15 - 9:45am
Drivers Meeting: 9:45am (5 minutes)
Take off from Target: 10:00 am sharp!
We will travel to Corpus picking up vettes along the way. We should arrive at the Radisson Hotel in Corpus (closest hotel to ship) shortly after noon where the car wash folks will be set up awaiting our arrival. We can check into our hotels, wash/clean the bugs off your vettes and catch a late lunch (walking distance from parking lot). We've done this event 3 times, so if you have any questions, please feel free to call at 713-XXX-XXXX. REMEMBER - this event is for the Wounded Warrior Project. If you are a veteran, please fly your colors!
Thanks, Genevieve & George (aka GEES)

Count us in (Sean and Mari.) There are two other Vettes coming from my town in east Texas but I'll let them chime in on their own...
Here's my wife in front of our old vert (we have a coupe now) gearing up to roll down with the Houston group back in 2007.
And what an AWESOME view out every window...

Corvette Caravan Flyer
The Corvette Caravan Flyer is ready. However I can't attach it. Can anyone send me a PM with instruction on how to do this? I've tried everything.

Melting Slicks
Hi George
Well - looks like my brother is not going to make it ... so just me #10:
10. Kaiserbud (1969)
11. Kaiserbud's brother (Tennesee) 1998 Pace Car
So - now I have to decide whether to drive the 69 or the Pace car... creature or comfort.
SO DOES ANYONE WANT TO BUY MY EXTRA TICKET # 201 ?
See you guys soon!
