Thank you! Mine will be (and has been) seeing the same DD conditions, glad to hear they'll take it. I'll be taking it out to Deals Gap in April for the big rotary meet so that'll be its first long trip. Definitely want to try some AutoX, it's been almost ten years since since I've been.

Here is some good news after a crappy weather week. The forecast is sun and mid 60's for next weekend. I haven't been able to make C@C since last summer so, I'm in next Sat.

Sounds like a plan as long as the weather doesn't change , which we know it can each day,

Looks like you guys have been having quite a bit of fun in the snow. Despite what some might think, Vettes don't melt.

Just thought I'd touch base since I've been so busy with the new job and haven't had much spare time because of training. I'd been looking forward to heading out to Ennis with everyone today, but the weather just did not want to cooperate.

The Goodguys show is coming up in a few weeks, so count me and Rylie in for it. We're both looking forward to going; she had a blast last year hanging out with everyone.

I won't be able to make the GTG tomorrow, but I am planning on making next weekend's and am looking forward to seeing everyone.

Default HUD fix

Well with the weather being so crappy I decided to go ahead and tackle my sagging HUD issue... The fix worked perfectly and now my HUD is actually fully visible and fully adjustable!

Unfortunately the HUD bezel disintegrated when removing the dash (despite my patience and extra care during removal) so I'll need to order a new one.

Now the choice is... do i leave my car in pieces until a new bezel arrives or do I re-install the dash sans-bezel then remove it all again to install the new one?!

Wow Vann, nice work! My dad changed his HUD on his 05 C6 without the dash out.

That would have been a nice alternative!!

Honestly though it really wasn't too difficult to remove the dash from the C5.. just takes a little bit of patience and knowing which order to remove each piece. There might be 18-20 total screws/nuts to remove the entire dash including the console, radio, glove box, AC and gauges. Pretty wild!

My 1991 300zx had about 2,657,908 fasteners to remove the dash When i put it back together i had 2 left over

I can't come out to play tonight. My folks are coming over to work on their taxes tonight. It's easy but we are going to eat and spend a little time together.

I won't be out tonight. I'm headed out of town for a while so it's going to be a few weeks before I can join you guys for a meet. Maybe the weather will be better by the time I can make it.
