Hey guys, I will not be available Saturday but check with Vann and see what time he would like to meet up if he is going. Whiskey Cake will be a great location for the meet up before C&C Just a short drive across the hwy to the other side and you are there

:iagree
I'm just giving my opinion on my experience with this paticular situation. We are fortunate in the Dallas area, to have some really good shops for our Corvettes... Some shops are better for certain things and everyshop has pros and cons.. I will not bad mouth anyone.. Just giving an honest opinion with my a/c compressor situation...

Sounds good! What spot were you planning on meeting at?? Whiskey Cake would be a great meet spot at 6:15.. Will probably get some nice spots at C&C if we leave on time

Shop#1 said they were unable to do A/C work because they did not have the equipment, so they refered me to an automotive a/c shop... I was a little bit shocked... Shop #2 was way overpriced.. Shop#3 only said I needed a Compressor only.. 3 Things are mandatory when you replace an a/c compressor!! Accumulator, compressor and orifice!! Always! It would be like not replacing a throw out bearing and pressure plate on a clutch job.. WTF? Anyhow Shop #4 did the job, with genuine GM Parts, in about 4 hours at a very reasonable price... Two thumbs up for 21st Century Muscle car, especially Matt, who called me 3 times, when the parts came in, when the work was started and the last call was when the work was finished...All in a days work... Awesome job!
4 hours to change out your AC?? That's awesome! Glad you got some great help after trying 3 other shops! Enjoy that nice cold air

We'll meet at Whiskey Cake at 6:00-6:15am and leave together to drive over to C&C at 6:30. That should be early enough for us to park together.
