Sorry to butt in, but have been off Forum for a while. I talked with you last year about our Corvette Classic in Sulphur Springs. Noticed that some of you participated recently in some type of racing.
Would like to know more. Took delivery at Museum of my new Z06 7Z. Interested in getting involved in racing it since it was built for such. Can you advise me?

Were at Caddo Mills airport today and a bunch of the guys are racing the 1/2 mile event. There will be an entrance fee tho if u want to get in.

It's a very fun event and we usually go out as a group to support each other if something happens or coaching so its a great learning experience.

Welcome red Rod...and congrats on your purchase! What an awesome car. Obviously your car is most at home on a road course. The more "tenured" members can tell you the name but we do have a road course guy or two in the group.
I used to turn corners with my last ride and Motorsports Ranch in Cresson can be a ton of fun. I can't really point you further though I suggest club events so that someone will ride with you and instruct...VERY cool to do!
Also, I'll be doing some drag racing and though I have only posted on here a couple times I'll see if we can get it posted. If you haven't drag raced I can get you familiar so the starter doesn't bark at you.

Even though many of the guys were exhausted from 2 days of racing, and were not able to make the GTG.... we still had a good turn out. 
Jack is back with his new 2015 Silver Z06. My color too....
It was great seeing you again Jack !
Jim and his wife returned to our group with his new White C7.
He left before I got a chance to get a pic of his new Stingray.
Jim used to meet with us at Asado's in Murphy about 7 years ago.
See you guys next time !

Welcome and very much what JP (427zm) about Caddo Mills. That's probably a better venue if you don't have a lot of seat time because the starts are not as critical as from a standing start.
