GM Will Restrict Z/28 Parts Supply to Prevent Clones



I remember how that turned out with the 2004 Z06 Commemorative Edition wheels.

You had to have a 04 Z06 Comm edition to order replacement wheels.

2 years later Bob at House of wheels got a few truck loads of Comm edition wheels from GM. He sold them cheap too.

I know that JP, and Matt are attending.

LoneStar Corvette club is having their annual Corvette event May 16th - May 18th.

Tons of events happening the whole weekend.

I want to go to the Show on Saturday as usual.
We should gather up some folks and cruise over.
Maxx is coming up from Houston and we plan to meet up there and go for lunch after cruising the show.

Anyone know a decent place to eat over that way ? Maxx mentioned Rosa's.... But I think we can find something a little better.

As far as lunch for the Saturday LSCC show is concerned i'm pretty open to whatever. I really don't know the area so i'll let you guys come up with something. I'm definitely looking forward to it though.

I do know that i won't be able to move my car until 3pm during the show on Saturday but sure beats leaving it at the hotel or outside the whole time. So i'm pretty much just entering it in their "show" for a parking spot under the shade.

A topic was brought up this week that our current location "may" be off the beaten track a little.
That is might be a decent idea to get more "central" a little bit.

I still think that Brick House was a great spot and would be open to moving back there.

I'm very open to suggestions or comments.

Any thoughts on the subject ?
