Mechanical Work
Dennis Meyers is the guy to go to for mechanical work. He is very reasonable, knowledgeable, and since he does good, honest work, he's booked up for several months in advance but will get you in after you make an appointment. He has a shop, Performance Machine? on the northwest side of the corner on SW44th and Bryant. Dennis is a National Street Rod Association safety inspector and does a lot of hot rod work. His number is 405-409-6905.

C3 Corvette work
There used to be a place on South Shields, The Corvette Clinic, been there for many decades, owned by David Pearn and he did outstanding work very reasonable. He was always accessible to just discuss issues. Unfortunately David passed on last year and his shop next to Merle's Suspension closed. David tweaked a few things on my 1980 right before he passed. When I got the car back, it was more than amazing. He was a highly respected and talented race engine builder and the cars he was involved with still holds many national records at Thunder Valley. I for one, sure miss him when I was in over my head or had issues needing a vehicle lift. You won't be disappointed with Dennis when he can get you in. He's a great guy too with a lifetime of GM factory experience.

Melting Slicks
$79.95 for a new set of 4-pucks that will work on any style/year Corvette and most other vehicles that need jacking pucks.
For those that don't know about jacking pucks (jack/lift spacers) you need to make sure automotive shops use these so that floor jacks and two-post shop lifts won't cause damage to your car's rocker rails.
These are the same pucks that Firestone Auto, Jamie (RPOZ06) and many others use in their shops.
These jacking pucks are fully adjustable and made from 6061-T6 aluminum and stainless steel so they won't ever rust or deteriorate and fail like cheap rubber pucks.
