Sulphur Springs All Corvette Show. 182 Vettes and some really great ones. Very well organized event.

NCCO took nine cars. Five claimed Hardware!

Great Show at a great venue. Let's take 50 Vettes next year. The Lone Star Club had 32 make the trip.

D.I.C. Stats:

9 hours 18 minutes total engine running time including travel time and events.

481.9 miles from the Vette Cave and back.

Overall MPG for the Silver Bullet ----- 25.8*

* some romping went on here and there

I wish I could have made it for the weekend. Sounds like a great event! I was able to attend a show at a casino yesterday. I entered all three Stingrays: my '14 in the '84 and up class and my '73 and '64 in the 53-82 class. Won first with my '14 and first and second with my '73 and '64...over $300 in cash and prizes! Pretty good day!

You were missed buddy. Next year let's fill up a couple of Lanes at that show. The not caring about Vettes people/women that we drag along would love the SS show. All the shops, etc.

Really cool Venue!

In this day and age, to get a personal vehicle on any airfield next to a jet airplane, then go into a hangar and get fed with more food than you can eat, the Sulphur Springs Corvette Club really put on a class act.

I put it on facebook but will here also. If Chuck needs it, I have the shop with a lift and all tools needed for tuning in Shawnee. Plus a fridge with nothing but good refreshments.

The Talimena for all interested will go on as scheduled, departing the Lloyd Noble at 0900 Saturday morning, Nov 1 and returning Sunday. We will do another one next spring and again next fall. Different note, the Mariott at the Texas Motor Speedway is filling up fast for those that have not made their reservations yet for the Lonestar Classic May 2015.
