Default New Z06 owner in Houston

Hey everyone,

I've been a long time lurker and Corvette enthusiast, and finally pulled the trigger on a 2009 JSB Z06 w/ 22k miles. The car was traded in at Porsche of North Houston them transferred to their sister company, Lamborghini Houston. The Carfax shows 1 owner and was registered in Crosby. The Carfax also shows service done at Munday Chevrolet and Corvettes of Houston. I called Corvette World and I guess when the company changed, all their service records didn't follow. Munday Chevrolet wouldn't tell me the service history due to "privacy" reasons.

Anyone seen this car around? Know the previous owner? It appears to be stock except a harness bar in the car. I'd like to know the service history, and see if the valves were checked in particular.

Thanks'

I'm from Crosby and actually know the previous owner. He traded the car in on a Turbo 911 about 3 months ago or so if I remember correctly. Le tme know if you have any questions abut the car and I'll be happy to see if he wouldn't mind me giving you his info. I will say this, he treated the car as it should have been treated and the way I treat my own. Like a princess, lol. He's a really nice guy, appreciates cars and did NOT drive that car hard at ALL. He put the harness bar in mainly to hold a camera and I believe it saw 2 track days, but that's it. As for the valves, I don't know if he checked them.

Thanks,

I've only driven it 15 miles so far, but I sure am enjoying looking at it.

I'd love to be able to talk to the previous owner about the car.

Man, I completely forgot about this. Went there a few times more than a few years ago but haven't been back since they moved Nifty Fifties. Out of sight, out of mind, I guess.
