Default Mechanic in Dallas

I want to do a brake pad change out and need an indie in Dallas to go to. I can't handle the brake squealing anymore. The Chevy House doesn't give a lot of choices in pads. Thx ahead.

Last time I did a brake change 21st was the only shop that actually stocked the Hawks I was using. I'd give them a call.

I loved them. They drop A LOT of dust, but honestly it wasn't terrible to clean. I just washed my wheels down once a week with some Simple Green and I was fine.

Carbotech 1521 is a performance street pad that is low dust and quiet. On top of that it is a 100% non corrosive will not harm your wheels or paint. If interested I will be happy to help you.

Carbotech™ Bobcat 1521™ The Carbotech Bobcat 1521™ is our high performance street compound that is our most successful compound. The Bobcat compound is known for its awesome release and modulation, along with unmatched rotor friendliness. Like our AX™ & XP™ line of compounds, Bobcat 1521™ is a Ceramic based friction material offering minimal rotor damage and non-corrosive dust. Bobcat 1521™ offers outstanding performance, even when cold, low dusting and low noise with an excellent initial bite. This compound’s virtually perfect linear torque production provides incredible braking force without ABS intervention. Bobcat 1521™ operating range starts out at ambient and goes up to 900°F. Bobcat 1521™ is suitable for ALL street cars, perfect for your tow vehicle, police cruiser. The Bobcat 1521™ compound has been found to last two-three times longer than OE pads you can purchase at a dealership or national retailer. That’s one of the beauties of Carbotech Ceramic brake compounds. Bobcat 1521™ is NOT recommended for any track use.

^Great option as well... The HPS will dust like a ****, but I was pleased with them on the street. They also held up well after a few 140+mph stops. I'm planning to try out the 1521s but they are a bit more depending on where you shop.

If these are ceramic based don't they have severe fade with more than one high speed stop?

No, they are good to 900°F. I don't recommend using them on a road course. Auto X and drag strip they are fine.
