I pulled off a 159.2 my last run on Friday. This was in a bone stock LS3 base with Z51. Was hoping for 150-155, so this was a pleasant result.

Anybody know anything about the corvette wreck on Saturday? From what I saw it was a total loss.

It looked pretty bad. Went thru the traps at 214.3 then when braking it lost control and rolled several times. Had run a 217.3 a few hours before the crash.

For reference, I did TM in Oct 2013 with intake/tune (479/446) and ran 171.9 with a best 1/2 mile of 151.1

I now have intake/heads/cam/full exhaust and make 557/492.

Best 1 Mile:
  • Friday 3/27/15 6:05pm
  • 1/2: 154.8
  • 1: 180.9

Best 1/2 Mile:
  • Sunday 3/29/15 8:02am
  • 1/2: 156.9
  • 1: 180.2

I have a bunch of camera angles:

Best run: 180.9 mph

Speedometer view - into the wind - 177 mph (worst run of weekend)

Rear view - GoPro mount decided it had enough somewhere around 175 mph

And a quick 40-80 pull in 2nd gear on the return run

Had some fun on the return route - consistently pulling >1g

I found that my speedometer always read lower than what I figured it should based on the MM6, 3.42, and stock tire sizes. I used this calculator to estimate based on RPM.
