I work/live around the same area. Going to be a big meet/show this weekend at KP racing. Look up Houston Performance Driving on FB.

They host a bunch of events around Houston and usually a good amount of vettes.

Welcome to Houston. River Oaks is a nice place to live. There is always some kind of show happening here. Dont think you will have a problem there.

Otto's BBQ parking lot on saturday evenings in Stafford just south on 59. Not just Vettes but the BBQ is good, the beer is cold and you can take it out in the parking lot.

I second the Ottos recommendation for Sat nights.

Woodlands Cars n Coffee is this Sunday as well. I plan to attend.

Lots of track day events in Houston if you are into that. MSR Houston, TWS and Grandsport are all ~1 hour away.

There are 5 Corvette clubs (I think) in Houston, most are regionally organized. Find one that suits your activities and you'll have something to do almost every weekend. Also check out Northwest Houston Vette Rods. There's no membership fees, and they meet every Sunday morning. Their website also has a calendar of various events going on around town.

I've been there as early as 6 PM and there were already quite a few cars there. Seems like cars coming and going all night.

I went by Kroger in Champions Forest and there was no one there, same with Vintage Park.
Obviously I didn't get the memo.

Niftee Fiftees that used to meet Sat night at that Kroger is now at the corner of Kurkendahl and Louetta in Corum center.

Vintage park cars n coffee is only once a month or so when announced.

Woodlands cars n coffee is first sunday of the month on market street.
