Default Houston Auto Detailer - Found

I had been looking for someone to detail the vette and started by searching on the forum and never left. I see we have a number of really good detailers in the Houston area. I wound up using Brent at Active Auto Detailing. I chose him primarily because of the things fellow forum members had to say as well as folks on his FaceBook page.

I'm glad I wound up going to Brent. I really am having a difficult time believing the difference he made in the paint on my car. I had him give me the Level 3 treatment and finish with CQuartz. The paint looks like it just rolled out of the paint booth. Take a look at the pictures. I just wish I had thought to take some pictures before I handed him the keys.

Thanks Brent! I will contact you soon to have my less interesting cars detailed as well.

You have a PM. I dropped the car off on Friday just before lunch and I believe it was ready around 4:00 or 5:00 Saturday afternoon. I probably could have dropped it off later Friday but I had other things to do.

Ok Brent. If you check the forum much and see these posts I'm going to start asking for a cut.

I have been watching his FB page and saw your car on FB over the weekend. I now have an appointment with Brent at the end of the month for my 2004 Z06.

Cool. I'd be interested to see how it goes for you. I bet your just as happy as I am. Brent also seems like a real good guy on top of that.

What's the wait time for an appointment?

I'm not a big wash & wax type, more like the pay & tip.

You'll have to talk with Brent about that. Probably a week +- a day or two.

I dropped off my Z06 with Brent yesterday afternoon. He completely transformed my black paint in less than 24 hours time. The before and after difference is unbelievable. I just hope that I can learn to clean it properly to protect his hard work!

I'm glad it worked out for you. I feel the same away about cleaning. I'm almost afraid to drive it now.

I'm going to drop off the family cars to Brent in the next few months. I cant wait to give him those challenges.

BTW
Your paint looks fantastic!

Can a detailer improve fading on a 35+ year car? A 2-tone, like this one - http://www.buyavette.net/New%20Pictures/413101.jpg - or is that more of a paint shop project? Paint is still remarkably good, just old.
