Window tinting San Antonio
I am picking up a ZO6 at Bowling Green next week. Will want to tint the windows and maybe clear protective film on the front. Any experience and recommendations in the San Antonio area?

One reason I did not do museum delivery, is I did not want to drive my new car all the way home without XPEL.
I picked it up at Benson's, so it was only unprotected for about 5 miles to XPEL and I was sure to keep a generous following distance on the way there.
Teeny, tiny rock chips will be noticeable under the XPEL if you get them in your paint before installing it.
XPEL's HQ is on Sunset just off San Pedro in San Antonio.
Excellent installation on two of our cars.
Did the front bumper, partial hood, headlights, mirrors and rocker panels (had them remove the OEM paint protection under there to do that)
Don't forget to have the inside door sills done, as they will get
scuffed dragging your feet inside.
(not sure why I didn't do that, but I will soon)
Will be ordering OEM splash guards and installing those as well...some guys take those with them to the museum and install them in the parking lot before heading home. Easy install.
XPEL also does tint.
I will be taking my car back there for tint next.
Ask for Chris.

XPEL is a very highly regarded paint film.
XPEL's national headquarters is in SA and the contact is: XPEL; David Dick 210-678-3700 or that was the case when I had mine done. Did an excellent job. Don

David's still there. They take care of all my cars. They have a top notch tint guy they can bring in. He installed the ceramic tint on mine at a fair price.

The dealership had already tinted the windows, on the window sticker shows 3M tint. These Corvettes need tint as they get hot. Might check that. Bought the car at Rick Hendrick Chevy in Norfolk.

Stop in Houston on the way back home and let Mingo at SunCap Auto Tint do ceramic tint and paint protection as a package.
Mingo is the man when it comes to tinting Corvettes.
