I'm here in the Stone Oak area. I do a lot of Autocross events with SASCA.org and numerous track day events at Harris Hill ( see SCCA Tracknight), Driveway Austin, and at COTA. Next Autocross is 24 Sept, come on out

We hung out for 40 minutes made some plans and then split.

We're looking to get some cruises and BBQ runs planned. Also if y'all have time it would be great to have a few Vettes out at some of the local meets around town during the week.

No clubs or anything just a few car enthusiasts who happen to own Vettes getting together.

You stated "local meets around town during the week." Where/time during the week? Do you know of or have a weekly breakdown list? Or, is it pretty much the same places, every week?

There are a ton of meets during the week all over town. Check out San Antonio Car Meets FB page. The Pinned post has a long list.

They usually destroy every spot they have, apparently the Bucee's meet was fun till the weed and alcohol and that G35 decided to hit a median

Lol, was this last Friday??? It was to good to be true the first time....over 60 cars and everyone behaved!
So Yes! The best meets are the ones we invite select groups of people to. It ensures everyone behaves and we can enjoy a spot. Unfortunately after a few weeks of not moving spots, someone finds us and tells all their friends.

I'll still swing by some of those meets to check them out, I usually just leave after a few minutes and go for a cruise. Any excuse to drive the Vette really.

There's actually two really good meets this Saturday, Sept. 24th.

The Rivercity Corvette club meets at the Jim's on 1604/Culebra around 7 am to 10:30 or so.

The other is at Performance HQ @ 6324 Bandera road, just outside 410. That one will draw some exotic cars. It's called Fast Cars and Food Trucks. that one is from 9 am to 8 pm. They are having a dyno day as well.

Does anyone have any tuning experience with performance hq? I need one soon. Nothing fancy just simple bolt on's.

I have an tuning appointment on Monday....also some bolt on's...I'll let you know how it goes.
They are the old Lethal Crew, under new mgmt from what I've gathered.
Today The Dyno room had 3 Vettes, a newer Camaro, and a Drag Camaro. The workshop was full with mostly Vettes, and a GTR

A good friend of mine from the local tuner scene started working there so that inspired my confidence to pull the trigger and get the tune from them.
Originally I was going to get Henderson in New Braunfels, but depending on how this tune goes I might stick with PHQ for some of the bigger engine tuning items.

There is a meet tonight at Shenanigans at Potranco and 151 from 7pm to 11pm. I'll probably swing by around 9pm if anyone wants to join.
