Just announced the Arkansas Mile
I live in Texas will do the Texas mile - Arkansas just announced they are getting in on the action - you HAVE TO TRY THIS - the only competition is yourself and just a blast - great cars - just a straight line - I'm rolling stock - just making sure you knew if in the southwest - itll be at Blytheville, cars trucks, motorcycles all run - just try it and get hooked on your own time......

They haven't announced the official date yet, and after looking at the track on Google Maps, I'm pretty sure they typo'd it and it will be a 1/2 Mile as the runway is only 1 mile long. It's definitely a blast though, I just did the WannaGoFast 1/2 mile event in Sulphur Springs, TX in Nov and had a lot of fun. Will probably drive up to this one as well.

and I won't make this event due to conflict with SCCA Pro Solo at Mineral Wells the same weekend
depending on what else might be going on that weekend, I'd recommend making your hotel reservations now
can always cancel for free
not many nice places in town and all are at the Main St Interstate exit
Hampton Inn is only 4 years old or so
I stayed at the Holiday Inn once and it was ok
