Lenient Inspection Station in Dallas?
Just bought a modded C6. Worried about it passing state inspection. Live in Dallas area. Where's the best place to get inspected? Need "a guy" that's willing to work with me. Thanks.

Pretty much any of the inspection locations in the rural areas will pass a car as long as it doesn't have any really obvious issues. Come on down to Glenn Heights; I know a couple places that will pass just about anything.

As long as you aren't throwing any codes you should be ok. I had a CAI and LG long tubes on my tuned C6. Never had an issue. As long as all the hoses are plugged into your air cleaner set up, they really don't visual the underside. Dude that did mine simply plugged in the machine to the data port and it passed. Matt at 21st Century does fantastic work.

Place down here in Red Oak on the east side of town called A&B does a pretty quick inspection. Trip around the parking lot(brakes and horn), checks the lights, plugs in the OBD, $19. 10 minutes, if that, unless he is busy.
And if it dont pass the OBD portion, there isnt much anybody can do, from what I can tell. The computer that checks it transmits the data to the state in real time. Im pretty sure all inspection places use the same computer system.

They all do now. That is how the state was able to do away with the window sticker. That's why I mentioned that the car can not have any codes. The state is playing hard ball now. There is no way that I know of to by pass the direct real time upload to the state.
