Corvette Invasion 2016 @ COTA
Woot woot! Dates announced. Can't wait.
www.corvetteinvasion.com
On Saturday, July 23 from 10am-2pm there will be a judged car show, live music, vendors and silent auction.
Portion of this year’s event’s proceeds will help a local charity.
Come cool off by sitting in the shade and watch the elite group of supercars called the Autobahners race around the track during the show.
Saturday evening you can choose from several excursions TBA in the Austin Texas and the Hill Country area
Then on Sunday morning, the first 300 cars to register will get Corvette Parade Laps (expect just one lap BUT maybe more we hope) and then finish off with tradition and cruise over to the Oasis Restaurant on Lake Travis for lunch.
Cost will be $75 per vehicle (this includes car show and parade laps) Registration link will be sent out soon we are still working out details with vendor.
***This is Rain or Shine Event and Open to Corvettes Only***

I attended this function in 2014. After that day I made up my mind and finally pushed forward and purchased my first Corvette. I can't wait to see my very own Vette in the mix with all the others that made one of my dreams come true. Also hopefully get to take a lap around the track. See all you guys - gals out there.

I believe there were only about 30 more registration spots for the parade lap on Sunday as of this morning. Register fast if you want to make that!
I'll be there - anyone else for sure going? Luckily I live only 40 mins drive from COTA.
It was a very fun time last year - I had my C7 for only 4 days before the event #newbie.

I went to the Oasis last year to check out the cars, I however didn't take mine . I live in Midland Tx but my sister lives in Cedar Park and I go visit her often. I will definitely make it this year with the car, really want to check out COTA.

I went last year for the 1st time and it was blazing hot in the parking lot👎I wasn't going to go to the COTA "parade laps" but honestly that was the best $20 I ever spent 👍👍🚗☁️☁️☁️☁️It was wayyy more then parade Laps trust me! I think I hit 130+ plus I really got to try out that F45 suspension 😁😁. Haven't decided if I'm taking my GS Coupe I just bought.

If you go to this event, be sure to take a lawn chair, umbrella, and lots of water. COTA is a very large area with acres of concrete and asphalt. It's a 20 minute walk to any event. Stay cool, it's hot!

Get there early before its too hot!
Parade laps will be interesting to say the least.. might be like a traffic jam in rush hour with 400+ cars registered for the laps. Hopefully they split up everyone into reasonable groups.
