Anyone going?

http://www.tracknightinamerica.com/e...south-april-12

I went last year twice and had a blast. Plan on getting as many this year as I can.

That's me in the grey GS at the beginning of the video. Met you there last fall. I'm planning on going but have Jury duty that week so could be iffy.

Oh sweet! I got jury duty the following day, got lucky. Got a 2016 z51 and a 2016 mustang GT, (possibly an e92 M3) coming with me.

I'm from San Antonio, but I was in Granbury last week and stopped by the track in Cresson to check it out.

There was a bad *** ZR1 that was doing to test laps. Here's a couple of photos I took.

Wow. That thing must have been awesome! It's a nice track, no walls to worry about, plenty of fast straights, pavement smooth, just missing a hairpin. I hope it's not too crowded, the 1.7 mile section is small, wish they would open it up to 3.1 miles but that would take more flaggers.

And Whoop you may like this photo I took. I was running about 1:28 with light traffic. I am sure we pulled some 1:25 or 1:26 on that last session we did when we went at it freely for a few laps! (this time you won't have the straight line advantage, I got a little "intake" of my own now too)

Great Pic. Not sure I'm going to make it. Still on jury duty stand by and work is just nuts right now. If I don't, have a great time. Hopefully they will have a fall event too.

There was a few laps in there where we were really moving. You are a good driver and you pushed me to work hard in the corners.

I'm having headers, x-pipe and a larger radiator installed soon. Parts should be in next week sometime. Should help keep temps down and give me another 30-40 more HP.

Good to know. I do see it on the MR calendar at least through June. I will shoot for May.

It was loads of fun. We got extremely lucky with the rain. There were a few 5 minute mild showers but not enough to wet the track. Real fun time! I wish there were more high horsepower cars out there, not as many as last year. The same blue Golf R was there, he was very fast, outran me the first session. Beat my last year's time by 4 seconds.
