Late Model Racecraft

Finished up another LMR1200 package and took the car down the 1/4 mile for the first time at the Quick 30 in Baytown Texas Saturday night. This car is equipped with one of our built 8sp automatic transmissions and prototype torque converters. As you can see from the MPH, we missed on our first go around with the torque converter in this particular application. It was blowing through it pretty good on the big end.

None the less, the car still performed awesome while only making 19-20lbs of boost. The customer brought his enclosed trailer from out of state to take the car home with him after making some test passes.

The car went 9.7 on first full pass and then we backed it up with a 9.67 and then a 9.62(could of been a .59 but spun in low gear). Either way, after seeing how consistent the car was after just 3 passes, he loaded her up and took her back to his home state to enjoy.

He plans to enjoy it for awhile and then will bring it back for us to fine tune the torque converter for his application.
