Is this such a thing? Other parts of the forum say a "certified Corvette technician" is legit.

Anyone know which service depts. in SA have one and are the best?

I was about to go Freedom, but when I asked if they had any certified Corvette techs they sort of evaded the question and said they had guys that can do Corvettes.

I'm sure they "can do" it.. but with all the horror stories I read, I just want to be sure I don't become a victim with my new Z

A Caddie shop servicing Vettes? Was not aware.. didn't want to roll up to service and they be like.. who's this chump??

I'm guessing that tech is gotjuice?

I was told by another local dealer that Gunn Chevrolet was the only SA dealer with certified "Z06" Corvette techs.

Just got word according to Chevy Cust Svc.. Ancira, Gunn, and Cavender have at least one certified tech a piece.

I took my Z to Freedom being the top Vette seller in San Antonio in 2015. I figured they've touched a bunch of Vettes, although they don't have a certified tech. Granted it was only my 500 mi oil change, the customer service was great.. so far no problems.

I hope I never have major surgery on my Z but if I do, I may try a certified service center for that..

First off congrats on your New Z!!

Interesting...didn't know Chevy had a specialist certification for Vettes. I guess that means that those dealerships invested in training for their techs and the equipment needed.
