Hi all,

Just wanted to introduce myself to the Texas branch of the forums. My name is Scott and I am a tugboat captain on the Houston ship channel, but live in Waco. I just bough a 1968 Vette that I will be doing a full rotisserie restoration on and anyone willing to lend some advice and maybe even some help here and there would be greatly appreciated!!

Cheers!!

Well, here is what I have to work with, which doesn't seem too bad at all for the outside of the vehicle. This time that I get off the boat, my wife and I will delve into checking out the birdcage. I know that frame has already been restored, so that is a plus, but We're still going to double check it anyway.

The issues we have found with the body so far are as follows:
1) cracks on the ridges of the rear clip

2) a large chip/crack on the drivers side of the hood surround

3) separation of the inner fender well from the fender on the driver side

4) and, of course, the front valance/spoiler is missing!

I hope these aren't terribly hard fixes!
