Default 1970 Corvette in Las Vegas

I've received some info about a '70 that I'm interested in. The car is in Las Vegas. I live in Florida. Anyone live in the area of Las Vegas who could check the car out? Thanks

I was told the car is in Summerlin. I was in Vegas about 10 years ago. I went to the Red Rock Canyon which is near Summerlin. If I'm not mistaken, Summerlin is an affluent area....that true?

It's a nicer area of town and there are some very nice homes there, but there are lots of regular middle class folks living in Summerlin, too.

Retired Calis and yuppies living in condos. Mostly old people riding three-wheel bikes and eating prunes, and bitching about the younger generation. You might luck out on the car, though. If it's a stick, perhaps the guy needs a hip replacement and can no longer handle the clutch. Pahrump isn't far, along with Sherry's whorehouse.

Hey Hey - I live in Florida and you know what they say about the folks down here! I'm speaking to a woman who is in her mid- sixties. I asked why she's selling and she has a couple other Corvettes and she's looking to thin the crowd. Supposedly, she has had the car since 1998. It went through a full resto, She's only put about 2K in miles since she bought it.

The primary reason I'd like someone to take a peek for me is I really have no knowledge about Corvettes. I'm a Camaro fan. Mine is a '73, 500 CI, well, its got everything. The reason I want a Corvette? Always liked them and seeing I now live in Florida and all my neighbors have them........

Once you step to a 'Vette, you will not go back to the Camaro. My last Camaro was an '86. I still see it once in awhile, so I guess it was a good car. I am not near Vegas, but A-dawg is only 189 miles away, and is unemployed, as I understand. Wal-mart canned him after one week as a greeter. Give him a holler. He might want to blow the cobwebs out of his MG on a road trip up there.

When I lived in Vegas, there was a pretty active Corvette club. It wasn't my thing, but they were all very nice people and I'm sure somebody would be willing to check it out for you. Try asking in the Southwest section: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/southwest-44/

I met up with the Vegas corvette guys when we went there in '10, great bunch of guys. I would be they would help you out. I can find the t-shirt if googling Las Vegas Corvettes doesn't bring anything up.
