Default Arizona C7 Z06 owners

Curious how many C7 Z06 Owners in Arizona are on the forum here? I have met a few people from the forum, thought it would be cool to get a roll call going and maybe set up a meet and drive sometime before the weather gets to damn hot.

Reply with the following:

1. Location
2. Pic of your Z06

I am in Prescott Valley, AZ

Nice weather but the heat sucks the top end performance out of the car. More fun after the sun goes down!

Living up here in the mountains at 5300 ft elevation sucks the performance out of my car, still a lot of fun though.

Tucson.
Come up to Ely May 18th - 21st, 2017 and run the Nevada Open. If you own a Z06 you just can't have more with your clothes on!

Then come out for the Silver State Classic September 14th - 17th, 2017. Same rally, same course, same organizers, many of the same people.

Just watched a video on the SSCC Website, looks awesome, the entry fee's are pretty steep based on the different racing classes. What speed class do you run?

I run in Grand Sport. Placed 3rd in the 135 MPH class last fall and I just sent in my entry for the 145 MPH class for May. There is a large group of us from Phoenix/Tucson/Prescott that run this thing twice a year, including my friend Bob Allyn who set a personal best and 2nd fastest AVERAGE speed for the 90 miles of 209 MPH in his Winston Cup Monte Carlo. Clearly, there are som people in that race with a comfort zone too big to fit in Arizona.

You should join us. First timers must run Touring Class (95-110 MPH) and go to dumb class at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. It's just a driving test, two laps around the road course to be sure you can drive. Most of the 'instructors' teach at the Ron Fellows school at Spring Mountain and the only way to fail is hit something.

I am going through the Ron Fellows Driving School at the end of May, wonder if they could sign off on the first timers course instead of having to make multiple trips to Nevada?

Dumb class is on registration and Tech inspection day (Thursday) so it's all part of the same event BUT if you Call Blue Offutt at
(602) 478-9096 (after 6:00pm AZ) (SSCC Rookie Liasion) he can tell you if the Fellows Cert will get you a pass on 'Dumb Class'. That thing starts at 6:00 am on Thursday so it's worth a try.I should tell you that my 2015 Cert from the Fellows 3 day school was not enough.

Default Are you here

Just bought a 2014 C7 that is from Arizona. Would like to find the previous owner. It’s procharged (P1sc) and has 15000 miles. Just wanna save myself some money without having To dip into things that are already done.

Who originally owned it?
