245/45/17 on 7” wide wheels with 4.75” backspacing. Wheels are PS Engineering Trans Ams. I moved the parking brake brackets from the sides to the top of the trailing arms to make room for the wheels and tires. This has no effect on parking brake function.
Yes, I’m told these are “too wide” for 7” wide wheels, but I think the more rubber the better.
No worries about the tires encountering the fenders even in over-the-top driving! Tires pumped up to 40# for autocrossing, normally 32#.
