Default Learned the hard way

Shame on me for not heeding the advice of several other forum members, but I made the choice to do business with GM PartsHouse and got what I deserved. Apparently, when they screw up, you will never get them to admit it...that's if you can get a hold of them. Oh, they'll be at your disposal when taking an order. However, as I found out, they mysteriously disappear after shipping out the wrong parts.

Do yourself a favor and spend your hard earned money elsewhere!

Are you sure you are talking about the right company???

You are not talking about Gene from GM Parts House, that's for sure.

Indeed I am. I assume your experiences differ from mine? Perhaps then you haven't seen the side of Gene that gets exposed when he knows he made a mistake. That's when phone calls and emails go un-returned.

In my world it's simple...I order blue widget from you, you ship blue widget to me and I pay you for it. If, however, you send me red widget, please expect that I will contact you to return it. As long as you agree to correct the error, problem solved, life goes on. When repeated attempts to reach you for resolution go unanswered, I, like most consumers will become angry.

Hmmm never really heard anything but good things about gene or his company. People are always happy with him his products and service. Interested to hear what gene says on this one.

Also funny you only have 5 posts and 2 have been spent bashing Gene. I won't be taking you seriously and hope others here don't either.

You have a grand total of FIVE posts on the forum. Unfortunately, I am going to complete discount what you have to say. No credibility.

I hope Gene will post in this thread soon.

I've bought a lot of parts from him over the years and he has always been outstanding to deal with!

If there is a problem and you bought thru this website follow the rules and file a complaint against the vendor. Gene has been good on all my buyings from him. I did have a problem with a bumper cover I ordered and never received for my old tahoe but I just did a chargeback and wasnt going to argue about it.

Number of posts has absolutely nothing to do with credibility. I'm merely expressing an experience I had, and feel compelled to offer it to others. I'm sure Gene has his ardent followers, and detractors as well. No reason for anyone other than Gene himself to take issue with my remarks.

I have bought a ton of parts from Gene, never had a problem. You sure you have the right company????

Ok post up the order and email's ect, let see...

If you talk bad about someone you need to have the facts to back it up.

I've ordered several items from Gene with no problems...He wasn't always the nicest person on the phone though. But I wouldn't hesitate ordering from him/them in the future.

OP - You should PM Gene directly. He is definately a well respected vendor on this forum. I don't know him personally, but as you can see, I around here A LOT!!

Your first posts should not be bashing someone on the forum like that (especially someone like him).

I will bet that you havent discovered the PM function yet, because Gene has been known to answer them relatively quickly.

How much does Gene sell them for? Would I save money if I bought 4? Blue ones would be nice.

I've bought a lot of parts from Gene and never had any problems. He has always been straight and fair with me.

The OP should post the details of his transaction, so we can understand his beef and let Gene respond.
