VENDOR EXPERIENCES - Corvette Mods
Corvette Community,
I felt obligated to write a note and talk about some of my CF vendor experiences.
I buy A LOT of aftermarket parts and accessories for my vehicle....somewhere in the neighborhood of $7,000 last year, not including the $15k of Lingenfelter work I had done.
There are two CF vendors that I've done business with in the past that will never again get my business. One in particular was extremely rude and nasty and almost impossible to work with. I'm not here to smear anyone so I will not mention on the public forums who those vendors are. PM me if your interested in discussing my negative experiences so that you don't run into the same.
But I do want to mention an absolutely wonderful experience I had with CORVETTE MODS. I have been working with Neal for the past several weeks and have purchased around $2,000 worth of parts/accessories for my vehicle.
Neal has bent over backwards for me to ensure that I'm happy and has done everything in his power to meet my needs. I'll admit that sometimes I ask quite a bit of who I order from, simply because my lack of time and planning puts me in a tough situation when trying to get parts quickly.
But Neal has done what every Vendor should do, and that's do everything in their power to make the customer happy. It is unfortunate that some Vendors don't take that approach. I just wanted to send my props to Neal and let everyone know that he will do whatever is necessary to make sure you are taken care of. Thanks Neal for the awesome service!

I place a oder on 4/2/12. I recieved a confirmation, but do not have goods or tracking info. Zip Corvette products ordered same day arrived on 4/4/12. So far I'm more impressed with Zip.

Ordered on Monday, and early Friday morning you're complaining that it hasn't showed up yet? Did you pay for 2nd day air shipping?

No I didn't pay for 2nd day shipping, however I did expect that they would ship and provide tracking info like other vendors. I was ok if it took a week to arrive, but I would expect that they would respond to an order. I ordered on Monday and didn't get a notice of shipping or backorder status by Friday. I do think that is bad customer service, I hope that they are so busy that they don't need new customers.

Sometimes I wonder how the Vendors put up with me.
I gave Neal at Corvette Mods a rough time over my bill.
He was so calm, cool, and collected. Explained where I went wrong and never lost it with me... One great company to deal with..Ed In Toronto

A happy xmas BUT NOT with Corvette Mods. They were out of stock and wouldn't promise honoring xmas special pricing when/if the wheels got restocked. House of Wheels honored Corvette Mods xmas special pricing and I received factory wheels, not aftermarkets.

sorry to hear that. Might have been a misunderstanding. If the order is left in at the special pricing it would be locked in. If the order is cancelled, then yes a future order would not receive the same promo. Either way we are glad you got your wheels!

Great experience here with Corvettemods. Had a minor issue I needed help with and they were quick to respond and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Definitely my first stop when shopping for my 427.
Great people!
