Good Day Form Members ,

I am writing this today to warn member of the misleading practices of Performance Corvettes in Orlando Florida . http://www.performancecorvettes.com/ . I place an order on March 5 for over $1,000.00 in CF parts . I was told .
('' parts like that, typically lead times are 3-4 weeks ''')

07/04/2014 (33 DAYS ) Emailed ---reply - almost done with the rest of your parts, the 08 stuff is really a giant pain in the ***, there are always issues with it, the larger the part the more problems we have dipping, the film is just much tougher than the other ones we use, i don't have an answer as to why....just have the gauge cluster and door lock bezels left to do, all other parts are done

we are well aware of how long it's been, this is the third time now you have emailed me with a calendar check up, as our website states, we do not give out ETAs on cusotm pending orders, they will ship as soon as they are ready, these parts take time to do, as i have also said before

custom parts are 10-30 business days, not calendar days
as i have said 3 times before already, when the parts are done, they will ship out and you will get tracking

You notice, they never sign the email. They will says we don't give times ,''WELL you should read your email you sent me . I guess they will say anything to get your money . 3 weeks is 21 days 4 weeks is 28 days . 37 days is 5 weeks and 2 days .

I emailed back no reply as my parts should have been finished and shipped .

On the 41 days , I had enough I contacted my Credit Card Company and filed a claim . I also emailed them with two choices .I send me my parts .(this was my first choice ) Choice 2 send me a Refund

Today Performance Corvette send me this email ,of course unsigned . ''refund sent, thanks''
Checked with CC company They Received 'NO' refund ,

I ask myself , If this company was on the up and up , Won't they , First apologize and sent my order my order they claim was finished . As we all know you have 45 days to file a claim with you cc company I waited 41 . I think Performance Corvette wanted to stall another couple of days , Then I would be out of luck ,

Now , if they couldn't ship my parts in 41 days , there're running all kinds of sale on Corvette form , How are they going to fill all these orders ! with 'NO PRODUCT TO SHIP ' So Buyer be Ware !

I don't know why people order from them...I have never seen a vendor with some much negative complaints!

Wow, I almost ordered a spoiler from them a few days ago but thankfully went with RPI instead. After reading this I'm very glad I did!

also had the same problem with a carbon fiber order, the parts were mad late and then looked like crap, after sending items back for refinishing 3 times they wouldn't fix the item's, they simply said that's the best they can do, and issued a refund to get me out of there hair just sad NEVER MORE!!!!

Performance Corvettes is the previous company named Empire Corvettes. They are an awful company with horrible business practices. Anyone who purchases from them does so at their own risk. I would never purchase from them again.

Think about this- check the amount of complaints people have posted in this section over time... its unlikely there's room at the top of any section for all of them to be "pinned" so anyone could read anything.

That's why there's a Transaction Feedback section.

Yes , it is .I don't know why they're still allowed to sell here , Right now I'm out $1,079.98 .(Claimed filed with CC company , I think they were trying to stall me another couple of days , you only have 45 days ,and them I would have no recourse ,

I have been a member here since 04-07-2009, never knew this part of the form even existed , It's hide away , If this was pinned on each section of the form , I would have never dealt with them , To pin it takes about 1/4 on a page not much to protect the members , If performance corvettes is allowed to sell here , How do I know there are not more dishonest vendors here ?

Performance was HORRIBLE to deal with! The quality was terrible and they obviously have NO quality control. I sent them closeup pictures of my concerns, and they claimed there were no issues. I was told "thats how they come out and a better job cannot be done!" There were burns in the clear from buffing and very poor tape lines. I sent the parts back and they STILL said there were no quality issues����. They screwed me with a restocking fee and I am now waiting to get my parts from Ed at TKO...
