CORVETTEMODS.com experience
Let me start by saying that I have purchased several items from Corvettemods.com over the past few years without any problms. However, a recent experience with them has changed all that. I ordered a car cover from them a few weeks ago...really nice cover with the C6 logo on front! When it arrived, I went out to the garage to make sure the fit was correct and proceded to put it on the car. After I got it rolled out on the car, I noticed there was no logo on the front...just the plain cover. Granted, the logo does nothing as far as the functionality of the cover, but I thought it would be a nice touch, and that is what I paid for! I contacted Corvettemods.com to ask for a refund or replacement. They said I could return the cover...as long as it had absolutely no sign of dirt on it. I had put it on the car to check the fit, and during the course of that test, the cover brushed one of the rear tires and some tire dressing got on the cover. The car was just washed so it was spotless. Since there was a small mark on the cover from the tire, they would not accept it for refund. They completely ignored the fact that they sent me the wrong product in the first place. They said I should hve checked it before I put it on the car. Seems to me they should hve checked it before they sent it to me! Anyway, long story, but after many emails discussing their failure to send me what I ordered, they are still refusing to take the incorrect cover back for a refund. I was very disappointed in their customer service and caution anyone thinking about doing business with them. When all goes well, fine....but just pray they don't make a mistake and you have to deal with them trying to get it resolved.

We are sorry you feel that way, but our communication stream has info in it that you seem to have missed putting in your post.
Yes, the mfg did make the mistake sending you the cover without the logo. We did contact them on the issue and they advised that they would correct the mistake and make a new cover. The caveat is that the cover that you were sent must be in the same condition as it was received. Unfortunately, sending another customer a car cover with black marks on the inside liner would most likely not sit well with them. Therefore, taking your cover back in its condition would not qualify as a new and unused item.
Our return/exchange policy is very clear on this matter. All returns or exchanges of an item require it to be returned in the original condition received.
We offered to discount the cover by the amount of the embroidery charge, but that offer was also refused.
Again, we do apologize for the oversight, but not allowing us to correct it prior to use of the cover makes it nearly impossible for us to assist you in the manner you expect.
regards
