I cant recommend tireracks customer service enough.
Had a huge issue with a set of tires purchased off of tire rack. The problem was not from them but one of their certified installers. Bought the tires and took them to Firestone for mounting and balancing. Since they are one of their certified installers you get a guaranteed price quote on tire rack. The quote was 88 installed mounted and balanced and confirmed with one of their salesmen.
I took them the tires and their GM refused to honor the price since i had run flats on the vehicle and stated it was an extra $40 per run flat since they require extra time. on their website its listed at $5 per run flat.
The job was actually very simple since i was using a new set of bare OEM wheels to replace my wagons. so all they had to do was break the bead and take out the TPMS and put them on my new wheels and mount the tires on them. The GM told me that was impossible and required an hour per run flat of labor to remove the wheel and take out the TPMS and you couldn't just break the bead.
I ended up putting my car on jack stands and taking out the TPMS myself in less than 30 minutes for all 4 tires by breaking the beads on them which according to firestone was impossible. Then i had a local guy mount and balance them.
To make a long story short i called tirerack told them what happened and they are going to make everything right either refund shipping or install fees. They could not believe what happened and where absolutely appalled at how their installers handled it. I honestly cant recommend them enough and they always stand by their customers.

I had a similar problem with Tire Rack tires being installed at Tire Kingdom. The GM there would not honor the web site install price. He insisted on charging a disposal fee even though I took my old tires home. They wanted $175 for an $80 install job. TMP install he wanted six bucks plus twenty for training with the magnet for each wheel.
I called Tire Rack and told them to come get their tires back and I told them why. Tire Rack said I had to eat the $75 shipping bill if I returned them. Ultimately the installer came down to $125 so I was ripped off for $45. Would not do business with either of those companies again. Their customer service did nothing to help me and they certainly do not stand behind their well documented prices. Just another scammer trying to enter my pocket.

My experience with them has been great. They do what they say they will do and it happens when it is supposed to.
When I ordered new wheels/tires for the Subaru, they got in touch immediately, with an "are you sure?" inquiry as I was ordering a very non standard size. I assured them it was OK, and was a not uncommon config. for the car. I was told, if it does not work out, no prob, ship them back.
Last complete setup i did for the C5, included one of their round magnets to set the sensors, but it would not fit between the spokes. Called, and they said, best to buy a small hipower magnet from the hardware store and they will refund the charge for the magnet. And don't bother to send the magnet back.
They also had (may still have) the best price around for the "early" Schrader sensors.

Just used tire rack the first time. Tire price went up $20 a tire from when I shopped to when I ordered and they honored the shopped, lower price.
Used the recommended local ntw or ntb. They were great. Talked to them before I pulled the trigger and they said no problem and there wasn't

I love their tire selections as well as their customer service. However, I usually end up buying my tires at Discount Tire because they always end up being less expensive due to the shipping costs when ordering from the Tire Rack...

I got my tires, and early model TPMS sensors from them this past spring. No issues and quick shipping to my door. I took it all to dealer. They replace sensors, mount, balanced and installed for $89.

When I ordered from Tire Rack I specifically wrote that I did not want tires older than 6-9 months. A couple of them where a year old. I called Tire Rack and they reimbursed my shipping cost.

Sooo I'm back where I started. Got prompt attention from Luke and was promised a Visa Credit almost a month ago that never happened. Why bother contacting me? No answer to private messages?
LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO DEAL WITH TIRE RACK!

In an earlier post listed above I express a problem I encountered in a transaction with Tire Rack and one of their installers. When Luke at Tire Rack became aware of my concern he contacted me and made it right within 48 hours. Their customer service is great and clearly I will do business with them again in the future. Thank you Luke for helping me and supporting this forum!

After multiple phone calls, emails and private messages you want to start over again? All the information you need has already been provided. At this point it's not about the fifty bucks, I spend more than that on tips every week of the year. You lost me as a customer and perhaps a few others who are listening. Sorry, I'm done with this game, no one wins.
