A shout for Summit Racing Equip
Back in March I started researching and collecting bits I knew I would need for the engine rebuild. One item was the oil pump. I did a lot of looking, and the more I looked the more questions I had, so I called Melling. I had a long discussion with the Tech Guy, and on his recommendation, ordered a specific pump from Summit. Fast forward to October, I think, when it is discovered that this pump will not fit, the oil pan is not deep enough. Finally I get around to returning the pump to Summit, with the explanation that it isn't their fault, etc, etc, and so I don't deserve a refund, but hoped that they'd be able to put it to good use.
Friday I received a full refund from Summit. I'm impressed.

I've been dealing with Summit Racing for about as long as they have been around. I've never had a problem receiving or returning a part. I shipped back a set of chrome rally wheels I had ordered then changed my mind on. The same day they received them, I had the full refund back onto my card. Corvette Central received the center caps for those wheels several weeks ago and I still haven't received a refund. I'll have to call them "again" and ask them when I will be refunded
Summit's Reno Nevada location is only about three hours away, Generally I can order a part in the morning and have it the following afternoon.

Agreed, summit always on point. Even when dealing with and shipping to Canadian customers. Price has been great/best on everything I've ever bought from them to boot. Just grabbed 4 electric fuel pumps off them for the twin 5.7 LS block Mercs. Saved a boatload , arrived early by weeks! product was currently out of stock when ordered. Way to go Summit.

Bought a set of Go Jacks from Summit, price was good and shipping lightning fast. One had a defect, customer service was outstanding in helping replace it.
Nice to be able to get a live person on the phone that I can understand.
