Default Late Model Racecraft--A company you DON 'T want to deal with

I purchased an intercooler expansion tank from them, only to find out it does NOT fit--the underside of the hood rubs the top of the tank. Just so there is no confusion, the installation was professionally done.
I spoke to Joe the Thursday before Christmas who admitted a design problem and said he would send a replacement the following Monday, which I took to mean Tuesday because of the holiday.
Since then I have received nothing and there has been no response to my emails or phone calls--I just tried before I started this post.
If quality, honesty, and integrity are important in a business transaction, I would look elsewhere.

This is why I stopped modifying cars years ago. Some shops just don't get it.

Totally understand your frustration, but it may be worth another call to them. The holidays can make all kinds of companies and people "drop the ball" so to speak. Call the shop again and ask for Ted or Steven.

I can assure you Steven will stand behind their work and get you taken care of. Just a communication issue here.

Same here.

Not worth the aggravation or the high blood pressure IMO.
Unless willing to do the installation yourself, don't pay a "professional" to do it...most of the time it's done half-a$$.

Buy the car you REALLY wanted in first place instead of trying to build it.

You do realize it was just Christmas and New Years, i highly doubt they're ducking your phone calls with caller ID. The amount of backlogged emails and calls received while down for a period can set back a shop.

WOW.... SUPER HELPFUL. I'm sure that is exactly what the OP needed. Nothing beats being kicked in the ***** when you are upset!

Re-read the OP's post (closely).
He wasn't asking for help; he was issuing a warning.

Mr Sabo, I was just made aware of this issue. It looks like you purchased one of our tanks back in October of 2015. When you spoke to my parts guy it was the day before the Holidays(which I give them vacation). This year(2016-17), it was from (Friday) December the 23 and we returned today(Tuesday) January the 2nd. Again, I am very sorry for any inconvenience to you and believe my parts manager has already taken care of you through email so all should be good.

I also tried calling you on this matter and left you a message by phone to discuss this matter. Please feel free to call me at the shop anytime. I will always stick behind my builds and products, even if they were purchased over a year ago. I will be glad to help in anyway possible.

Im not a super bright fellow but I can read just fine. I did actually read it again per your direction and I still didn't read where he asked to be kicked in the *****! Great job going the extra mile for the good of the order.

I would say that is stand-up service. Respectful too. Noted for future purchases.

Sometimes a little patience is a good thing. It sounds like this will be resolved shortly.Although I have never dealt with LMR yet personally, I do follow all of their threads. I have never seen anything derogatory said about them. Hope all works out for you OP.

I have to say that is a dick move bro....w0w!

^^^This.

I seriously get a chuckle out of people who buy a single part - last year at that - and think they are owed the planet. I see it all the time - full on builds are happening and these guys come in waving their fist like they should get their service - during the holidays - yesterday.

People like that should stop modding. I notice the OP hasn't posted since. I wouldn't either.

I don't have anything to do with LMR nor do I know Steve - but he's a bigger man than me...

Looks like the vendor has responded. If the OP has further issues this can be taken offline and the thread can be updated.
