but as Dr. Rebuild stated (well you know what he has stated).
You should try asking him to replace a part for you and ship it at his expense. I don't really want to turn away business but if this is how you are going to react then I guess you have his number as well.

Please go back and read the description again and then one more time and then one more time. That description tells you how to apply two different decals. 1=Peel and Stick 2= Water Soluble
This is a peel and stick decal so how do I need to re-write the instructions so that you would clearly understand them? I think we are a pretty smart business, this is our 40th year in business and most don't make it this far. So again you should be publically apologized to Zip right here on this thread.

You are so far out of line that honestly, if Matt had not promised to replace the decal you would not be getting one. I believe you owe Zip a very public apology.
WOW, all this huff over a $3.00 part. I would hate to have a problem with a $100 or a $200 part. I release Matt from his promise. You can keep your decal.

Mr. Cummings,
Please look at the above title. You say all this huff, well sir you started this thread on the forum over the $3.00 decal. The money involved is not an issue, it is the moral issue of the accusation. If this was a $100 part or a $1000 part we stand behind our parts. Your item is already out for shipping. It is more effort on my part to stop it then it is to release it. Matt said he would ship and we do what we say. However I think you have so far misunderstood not just myself in these posts but what everyone else was trying to relay to you as well.

This thread makes me wonder...

How a grown man, can order a part, read the instructions, Still screw it up (it is a sticker for christ's sake) go back to the people he purchased it from and request at their expense to replace said sticker and resend it at their expense? (this is the first question)

Then bitch because it wasn't immediately sent, Place a scouring post in a computer forum then actually push the subject because again.... He messed up placing a sticker on a part in the first place???????

I guess I have been self employed for too many years... My guess the OP is a educator, or government employee ie: A job you cant get fired from and it is always someone else's fault...

Just saying.... After the last decade of people not taking respondsibility for their own actions. I am looking forward to move, follow or get out of the way!

For Zips.... I get your pain, sometimes "firing" the customer in public does gain you respect!!!!!

If it makes the vendor feel any better, after reading this post, I'll be checking out your website next time I need a part. I think you went above and beyond here.

Mr. Abbott, may I suggest that you include the torque spec for installing that decal?

Just reminded me why I have bought so many parts from Zip and have dealt with Justin when I've been in Richmond at the Counter.

I think we are done here.

If the OP and vendor want to discuss this further, it can be done offline.
