Default 295/35/18 fit on 9.5"?

i have a spare set of 295's sittin around from the fronts off my vette, and my daily driver needs new rear tires, anyone know if a 295 fits on a 9.5" rim? i know its close, but not for certain...

i REALLY need a 285 to make it perfect, but ohh well...free is free.
thoughts and opinions appreciated!
