I have a set of Ecsta SPT tires on my C6.

According to Kumho's fitment PDF, the rim size range for 265/35 R18 is 9-10.5 wide, but I'm curious how strict this actually is.

Reason being, I'm currently running 265/35 R18s on my front wheels, but I'm picking up a set of 18x8.5 wheels. Right now I've got 18x10 fronts, but looking for a change.

IF I must, I can just get new front tires, but would rather just stick with the current ones if it's not a problem.

So I'm wondering if I can get by with the 265s on a 8.5wide rim.

NEver mind, decided to just order a set of 245/40s and not worry about the oversized tire bubbling or voiding any potential warranty issues.
