Default PS2's question

I have a set of PS2's on my Z06 . They are 4 1/2 years and the old car is always stored inside and only have 6000 miles on them and look like new. My question is are these a hard rubber compound tire ? They seem preety hard when I do the fingernail test compared to some other tires I have owned. After I drive on them they do get softer. I just want to make sure they are not like this because of age.

It seem like at least 6 years before you have to be concerned. Still curious for some feedback.
