What issues will I run into if I put C5 Z06 tires and wheels on a 99 coupe?
I already have the wheels, Need to purchase tires. Road driving only.

no issues at all ... C5 Z wheels and tires fit a standard C5 with no modifications ...

i'd love to see and hear how that goes for you, when you're done. pics before and after. I'm thinking of doing the same thing, next time i need new tires. what size tires are you going with?

No problems at all. I did it on my '99.

I went with 255/45/17 front and 285/40/18 rear. This is a close match to keep the speedometer close. (60.7 mph actual shows 60 mph on the speedometer). The stock Z06 sizes (265/40/17 and 295/35/18) are smaller diameter. (58.8 mph actual shows 60 mph on the speedometer) The 255 and 285 sizes work with either the base or Z06 size wheels and the front to back diameter stagger is good to keep active handling/traction control systems happy.
