wheel spacers and wheel stud length
I'm in the process of putting some Weld prostars on my 81 vette. I have SSBC calipers which are needing 1/2" wheel spacers to clear the wheel. Do I need to get longer wheel studs now? How much lug nut thread engagement is enough?

I ended up pulling the trailing arms off. Took them to tracdogg2 to get some longer studs put in. I'm not one to take chances snapping a few studs off and loosing a wheel.

that was a good idea as that extra 1/2" would probably have caused issues with the lug engagement
