Suitable replacement for no longer carried Nitto 555rII?
The car is a c5z06 running stock c5z rims with LG coilovers, pfadt sway bars. The car has 500whp and is used rain or shine, although not so much rain in the last year or two. It isn't my daily, but I don't worry about getting caught in a storm. I am using the Nitto 555r2's in 275/40/17 Front and 305/35/18 Rear sizes but sadly it seems the front tire size is discontinued. They were fantastic in the dry, and pretty darn good in wet considering they're a competition tire.
Just curious if anyone else had to deal with the same situation as me, and what they went with, suggestions? I do like to drive the car hard, and autox from time to time. If I have to revert back to the stock tire sizes (265/295) I will but trying to get the most of the setup without having to mix and match front to back. I just wish they still made that size because I'd buy it again for my 3rd set of them. Love those tires
Or....if anyone seems to have a guy who knows a guy that still has the front sizes I'd be eternally grateful....or at least until I need to buy tires again

The NT01's offer similar compound and feel, however they do not fare as well in the rain as the 555r2.
I feel your pain -- I'm going to eventually need to go a different direction once the 555r2's on my track wheels are done.
