Default Can the same size tires/wheels be used on C5?

I will be needing new tires before too long and am wondering if it is possible to change from the staggered 17 and 18 inch wheels and go with all 17 or all 18 inch wheels, running the same size rubber all around.

I am thinking then the tires can be rotated.

No.....The car comes from the factory with tires in the rear that are approximately 1" larger in OD than the fronts, and the car's computer programming is set up to see that difference in wheel speed, to keep the traction control, active handling, and ABS in sync.

Not entirely true. He can go 18's all around. A lot of people do. Just need to ensure the rear tire diameter is 0.5" inch or larger than the front diameter.
I've got 275/35 (25.6") in the front and 295/35(26.1") with no issues.

Re-read his post.....

He wants the same size tires all around, so he can rotate his tires.

I'm one of 'em. Been running 18" 315's on all four corners for years now. Electronics are just fine. All the nannies work.

How does the 315 fit on the front? Do they stick out of the wheelwell?
