Default Shipping wheels and tires

I realize that it's the forum sponsors' priority to sell us new wheels and tires. This, in turn, helps them support this forum. However, once in a while, we enthusiasts feel the need for a new set of wheels and/or tires, to update the car, but need to liquidate our current set up first.

This brings up the problem with shipping wheels with mounted tires, to their buyer. Can either the sponsors or members here, suggest an economical means to ship wheels and tires? I have a set I'd like to sell, and I'd like to see a reasonable return on them, but I also understand the reluctance of a potential buyer wanting to absorb shipping charges. Therefore, so far, I haven't advertised them anywhere, because of this dilemma....

if the receiving party can go pick up the packages at the terminal Greyhound shipping is as cheap as it gets.

Thanks, Luke, I've heard that's indeed true. problem is, if by chance I try to sell these on E-Bay, I don't know if shipping to a Greyhound Terminal is a viable option.

I had 4 wheels/tires and a 5th tire only shipped via www.saia.com from Oklahoma to Virginia for $165 dollars.

I had a friend put them on a pallet and shrink wrap them for me. This did require commercial shipping addresses at both ends. They arrived in perfect shape.
