Anyone put the after market caliper covers on their car?
The claim is they keep your wheels cleaner and help your brakes run cooler.
Any truth in that claim?
Seem to look nice but I was wondering if they do anything beyond adding to the cosmetic appearance?
Thanks!

Not a bit of truth from what I've heard, there also not a very popular mod at least on this forum, I wouldn't waste my money.

I bought the red caliper covers for my black 90 vette. I didn't care if the brakes ran cooler I just wanted the red caliper look and this was the easiest way to do this. They look nice on a black vette. Hope you can see the pic.

I've seen a few sets on cars around here. I'm not a fan of them at all as I think they look kind of cheap, but it is an easy way to get the painted caliper look I guess.
