Speaking of old tires, I just acquired my first Corvette, 2001 Z06. It came with an extra set of stock rims with Firestone Firehawk Wide Oval tires mounted on them, 295/35/18 rears and 265/40/17 fronts. Manufactured in 2007
I will be using the stock rims for track purposes and don't feel comfortable tracking 10 year old tires. They look like they are in great shape, 75 to 80% of the tread. I don't know anything about thier past.
