Anyone driving on a 335/30/20 on the rear C6 Z
I have tried searching with no answer. I have a 2007 Z06 with the lowering bolt kit done from previous owner. I have 20" HRE wheels in the rear, no idea of the backspacing with 345/25/ Invos. These are starting to feel greasy with the 530 HP to the rear and was thinking that i may actually go to a 335/30 (taller 28") tire and get me some more bite. I would polly get the Michelin Super Sports. Anyone tried this size tire? I do feel the current tire is a bit to small in diameter for the wheel well....but a 335/30 maybe to big. Any real life experiences? THANKS!

Hey Roger not sure how much this will help you. I have a 2009 ZR1. I lowered it about an inch and a half- )it's not bad to do you just need to put a jack under the arm to the wheel to loosen the tension and then rotate the cruise. Make sure you do it evenly or a shop will do it cheaply) I then put on 345/30/20 Goodyear PS2 on the back. Abundant Clearance. The Invo's have a smaller side wall regardless. The 345/25/20 actually look like a hot wheel on the car. I had no problem with the 30 sidewall on the front either. You do get a little more traction for various reasons but I guarantee you will spin them!. I have had a couple z06 as well and exchanged many wheels and tires on each in between each including the ZR1. If a problem were to occur it would be on the front. I had seen some 295/35/19 on the front imperceptibly touch the outer diameter of the tire on a dips going down the highway – note this was with the car lowered as above. Later I could see the slight rubber wear I have seen some other problems but that would not be applicable to your situation. I like the style of the NATO INVO's. Right now I have three sets of wheels and tires. Two I bought new one I bought from forum member with Z06. you won't have any problem but I guarantee you will still spin those tires! Consider some drag radials as well. If you have any specific questions or want to see some pictures you can call me anytime. I'm in Texas.
