Default Cut tire??

Does this look deliberate?? Could running over something do this? Found it on my right rear tire this morning

Almost looks too clean of a cut and straight to have run something over to me.

I had something similar happen, quite some time ago. In my situation, I knew that a local junk yard "crushed" cars on the east side of the county, before transporting the remains to the west side of the county for recycling. Their route coincided with my route to work, so I'm thinking I ran over some debris that fell off one of their trucks, and most likely, you did something similar.

Doesn't seem likely that anyone would deliberately try to cut through the tread of a tire... A lot easier to poke through the sidewall if they're interested in vandalism.

A while after I made the above post, I was thinking the same thing.
