Default C6z wheels on a c5

I have an 00 model c5 and would love to put some stock c6z wheels on. I hear the wheels may cause a rubbing issue and then others say there is no rubbing. Any opinions?
Will any year c6 wheels work
Are the c6z wheels the same as rest of the c6 wheels.

C6Z's have different offsets. One member here that I know of has successfully put on C6Z wheels with a 325 rear tire and it sits dead flush. He has a Z06, and had to remove his rear brake ducts for them to clear. The fronts poke every so slightly, but if you're slightly lower or have a wee of camber dialed in, they look perfect.

They can work, but if you're a traditional kind of fella, I'd look elsewhere. They have C6Z reproduction wheels in C5 offsets so they sink inside of the fenders like the stock wheels do...

I do kind of like the tire being even with the fender, makes it look pretty slick in my opinion. Not sure about adjusting camber and I am sitting stock so they may not look as good.

These are OEM GS wheels, but they're the same sizes/offsets as c6z wheels. The wheels obviously won't fit right with the OEM tire sizes, but if you don't mind a little stretch they can be made to work. These are my daily wheels so it didn't bother me to have a little stretch.

Here's mine with oem c6z wheels. I'm using 3/16" spacers. Sticks out a bit but it looks ok....I think.

3/16" spacers on the rear only. No spacers up front. 325/30/19 tires in the rear and 275/35/18 in front, Michelin Super Sports. I'm at stock ride height. Still have the brake ducts in there also. It is a tight fit, but everything works just fine.
