C5 tires rubbing on fender liner
I have a C5 with rear C5Z06 wheels on all four corners. I'm experiencing some tire rub on my new front wheel/tire setup and it's really frustrating.
Tires are 295/35/18 Bridgestone RE760
As you can see with this image, it's rubbing on the front at 3/4 lock. The part where it's rubbing is the darkest section.
My question- Is there anything I can do to fix the issue? Possibly heat up the plastic and mold it back a bit? Or just leave it? The rubbing does not appear to be that bad, but it's an annoying noise I would like to fix.

Not sure what year you have but the 2004 Z06 used a 17" wheel not an 18" wheel in the front. The tires you mounted are 50mm wider than the base size and 30mm wider than a Z06. Any chance you can install the Z06 265/40x17 in the front?

I have an 04 C5 Z06 with the OEM wheels n they are 17" front n 18"rear. Either all your wheels are 18" in all corners or you have somehow switch them. In any case 295s for the front is to wide for a C5. U gonna have to come down a notch or two on the tires or as you said modify the plastic cover. Good luck akilbrid...
