Wanting a set of deep dish wheels for my red c5 but they're all so dang expensive. Are there any a poor college student can afford?

A) It all depends on what you mean by "affordable"; and B) what you mean by "deep dish". Only you can decide how much you want to spend, but with respect to the wheels themselves, if you're thinking "old school, deep dish" wheels, they won't fit on a C-5. The C-5, as well as many other cars today, have suspension geometries that are optimized around what are essentially "front wheel drive" wheels.

The FWD wheels are in practice, the total opposite of what "old school" wheels are. In other words, an old school wheel, 10" wide, would have 4" of backspacing, and 6" of rim on the front side. A current design, FWD style wheel would have 6" on the back, and 4" in the front.

You COULD bolt up a deep dish wheel to your C-5, but it would stick out beyond the fenders.....
