Default Is there anyway a 22 inch tire could be good on a performance toy?

Hey guys,

Not really vette related however my brother has purchased a Polaris Slingshot. It's a 3 wheel trike/car.

It has a stock power to weight of about a Nissan 370Z. It has around 170hp and weighs around 1,750lbs.

He plans to add a reliable and proven turbo kit by alpha and will put the slingshot around 300hp. He seems to think an 11 inch wide and 22 inch tall rim will be a good street set up. The Slingshot comes with a 9 inch and 20 inch tall rim.

I think a 22 inch set up first of all will be very expensive and also quite easy to bend and break over possible potholes and other road debris. Not to mention do a poor job at hooking that power. Would you guys stick with a 20 inch or even go down to maybe 19's all around? Any feedback would be appreciated.

Chris
